Chiropractic Adjustments in Lenexa, KS

What Are Chiropractic Adjustments?

As a chiropractic clinic, we specialize in what is called adjustments. No, we are not putting your spine back in place, but instead, we use a technique to help restore spinal motion. Improving spinal motion has numerous benefits to it, such as less pain, less tightness, and improved range of motion.

What Style of Adjustments Do You Offer?

We offer whatever style adjustment you prefer. While most can tolerate manual adjustments, some prefer lower forceful techniques. We adjust using:
> Manual Adjustments - done with our hands, leading to an audible 'pop'
> Lower Force Adjustments - done with tools, such as Activator and Arthrostim, great for those requiring less force during an adjustment
> Thompson Drop Adjustments - a technique which uses 'drops' to help improve motion

How Do I Know If I Need Adjusted?

We recommend chiropractic ajdustments for people who:
> Have chronic tension in their spine
> Have ergonomic stressors (sit all day, stand al day)
> Have spinal pain, achiness, or burning
> Feel tight or stuck in their neck and back
> Have lifestyle pains - sleeping, exercising, sitting, etc
> And much more!

Do Adjustment Hurt?  â€‹
They shouldn't! There might be a temporary discomfort during the adjustment, especially if your joints are pretty stuck, but we rarely see anything besides relief with adjustments.

How Many Visits Until I Notice a Difference? â€‹
Most patients notice a difference within a few visits, but the total number depends on severity, past medical history, and length of time of injury. Our goal is consistent improvement visit to visit.

How Often Should I Get Adjusted? â€‹
That totally depends! Typically one time injuries require less frequency, versus if your lifestyle/job are causing your pain, we might see you more often. We want to keep you pain free, so we want to find a frequency that works for you!

How Do I Know If I Should See a Chiropractor?
We tell patients, if a) your pain has lasted for more than a few days, b) you have repeated flare ups, or c) if it is impacting your daily activities - make a visit with us!

As a top rated chiropractor in Lenexa, KS, we specialize in the treatment and prevention of many injuries and complaints throughout the body. Whether you have a sudden flare up, or have been living with pain for years, we would love to help!

How Do Our Care Plans Work?

1

Initial Consultation

During your initial examination, we take a deep dive into you and your complaint. We perform necessary testing, discuss relevant history, and see if we can find the source of your complaint. We typically provide treatment on your first visit!

2

Acute Care

Acute care is what we call the initial, more intensive phase of your customized treatment plan. The goal is to help reduce your pain and restore dysfunction. We typically see you at a higher frequency to address the problem. We can pivot treatments as needed.

3

Maintenance Care

After a successful acute care plan, we recommend maintenance visits to help prevent reoccurrence and continue maintaining function. These visits are at a lesser frequency, and range from every 2 weeks to every couple months, depending on you and your body.
